Today’s clouds Sky#23

Today’s clouds this morning around 7:30am were so beautiful. When I went out for carpool duty they were completely gone.

The sky is important to me because it helps me find the answers to things I am trying to figure out when I am frustrated and do not have the words. Everything is gone in the sky. The expressions, gestures and words I hear, use, misinterpret all dissolve when I am looking at the sky. The sky is a fresh start and resets my thinking. Included is Magritte’s clouds because ultimately the sky brings me peace.

Process: Layers and layers it takes to get the right blue and value from light to dark. Still does not seem as beautiful as the real sky blue, but I am content for now on the clouds. I do need to practice more with their shape and color to get a more natural look.
