Process of today’s Grass works

I say process of today, because there are other ideas on the way using other materials for the grass works. Today’s process was masking off a square in the grass paintings with masking tape to preserve a small window. I was thinking more about how the grass feels directly on your body and that the space between your body and the grass has no light. It’s a flat black area. You can see the visual texture of the grass through the window and feel the texture in the background of the painting. I do like the contrast of shiny black finish next to the mat background of window, so may keep it that way.
